Lead Db2 Systems Programmer - 100% Remote

A global leader in the financial industry is looking for an experienced Db2 systems programmer to work with their Mainframe Infrastructure team. Qualified candidates will have proven experience supporting a High-Availability, data sharing environment currently running Db2 v12, with plans to migrate to v13 later this year. Experience with Db2 Pervasive encryption, Omegamon/Db2, TMON/Db2, and/or IBM's Db2 product suite is a plus. Other skills required to be successful in this role include: installation and maintenance of Db2 and Db2-related tools; experience with z/HyperWrite, Db2 HPU and IDAA under Linux; strong communications skills; a solid knowledge of TSO, JCL, REXX, SQL, Assembler and Cobol; and the ability to mentor less senior staff members. This is a full time, direct-hire opportunity with a very stable end user and provides excellent benefits and a base salary in the $160-180K range, plus bonus.

Mainframe Systems Programmer - Permanent Remote Position

Our client seeks a z/OS generalist systems programmer to assist in supporting most systems-related functions for a small to medium sized mainframe environment. This person should have rudimentary systems support skills in two or (preferably) more of the following areas: z/OS, CICS (CICSPlex a plus), Db2, IMS, Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), security (RACF, ACF2), or DFSMS-managed storage. Db2 Systems Programmer - Great Cross-Training Opportunity

This person will be responsible for all aspects of systems-level Db2 support including installation, maintenance, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. IMS Product Developer - Permanent 100% Remote Support

An industry leading software vendor seeks an experienced mainframe product developer with strong IMS internals and expert S/390 assembler coding skills. This key individual will architect and deploy new IMS-specific product features for the mainframe piece of a popular enterprise product. All applicants must have demonstrated IMS systems knowledge with additional expertise in z/OS internals, 64-bit coding, cross-memory services, and systems-level troubleshooting (IPCS, XDC). Recent commercial software development is a must. Additional low-level knowledge of CICS, Db2, MQSeries, or TCP/IP is a big plus.
