This key individual will architect and deploy new IMS-specific product features for the mainframe piece of a popular enterprise product. All applicants must have demonstrated IMS systems knowledge with additional expertise in z/OS internals, 64-bit coding, cross-memory services, and systems-level troubleshooting (IPCS, XDC). A successful mainframe ISV has an immediate need for a senior QA analyst to assist in quality assurance of the next generation of their popular product line. This person will responsible for manual product testing as well as setting up scalable automated test scripts for the z/OS platform while also developing testing standards and guidelines. Experience working with mainframe commercial product development and support teams to assist in identifying and reproducing bugs is required. Qualified applicants will have solid skills with one or more scripting/programming languages in an automation role. Experience with QA testing in distributed or Windows environments is a plus.
