Ever wanted to have your own mainframe to play with? Our very stable client has a unique opportunity for a z/OS generalist with five or more years of mainframe systems programming experience in a z/OS environment. Qualified applicants will have good z/OS systems fundamentals that include solid SMP/E installation and maintenance experience and superior troubleshooting skills (IPCS). Qualified applicants will also have systems support expertise in at least three or more of the following areas: z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), MQ, or mainframe storage administration (DFSMS). Mainframe Systems Programmer - Work from Home

IMS Systems Programmer (2) - Possible Telecommute

Our client seeks two Systems Programmers to assist in all aspects of IMS DB/TM support for their mainframe-committed Florida data center. The first person will provide primary support for business-critical IMS regions and will include a v15 migration in 2019 on a new z14. Recent IMS support that includes v13 or above is required (v14 preferred) for this opening. The second position can be filled by someone with a) decent IMS skills who can provide DB2 systems programming along with backup support for IMS, or) a junior to mid level IMS systems programmer who can grow eventually into a senior role.
