z/OS-z/VM Systems Programmer - Fast Tack Into Management

Are you interested in moving into management soon but stuck in a dead end job? An Ohio-based mainframe shop seeks a mainframe systems programmer who they can groom to succeed a soon-to-be retiring Technical Support Manager. This person will initially support a z/OS, z/VM, and Linux environment, including all the associated subsystems and OEM products. The minimum requirement for this position is experience installing and maintaining z/OS and z/VM (SMP/E required) with a desire and aptitude to move into a management role. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must. Previous supervisory or project management experience is highly desirable. A background in CICS, WebSphere MQ, storage administration, VTAM, TCP/IP, or distributed/midrange systems are also pluses.
