This person will be responsible for all aspects of systems-level Db2 support including installation, maintenance, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. A successful end user has an immediate need for a hybrid Db2 systems administrator and Db2 DBA for their z/OS environment. This person will be responsible for all aspects of Db2 support including Db2 maintenance, configuration, performance/tuning, troubleshooting, and configuration/utilization of Db2-related OEM products. An industry leading software vendor seeks an experienced mainframe product developer with strong IMS internals and expert S/390 assembler coding skills. This key individual will architect and deploy new IMS-specific product features for the mainframe piece of a popular enterprise product. All applicants must have demonstrated IMS systems knowledge with additional expertise in z/OS internals, 64-bit coding, cross-memory services, and systems-level troubleshooting (IPCS, XDC).
