Senior MQ/CICS Systems Programmer - Florida Data Center

If you are an experienced Systems Programmer with bleeding edge WebSphere MQ and CICS skills in a Parallel Sysplex environment, here is a great opportunity to work for one of very best employers. This person will provide all aspects of support for a CICS/TS v5.4 (using CPSM) and MQ v9.1. Qualified applicants will have very up-to-date MQ Shared Queue skills as well as CICS and CICSPlex skills that preferably include experience with VSAM, Interdependency Analyzer, Configuration Manager, Performance Analyzer, CICS Explorer, and Threadsafe. Experience with TCP/IP sockets and exit coding are also highly desirable. An additional background in project management or team leadership puts you at the top of the pile. Mainframe Systems Programmer - Work from Home

Ever wanted to have your own mainframe to play with? Our very stable client has a unique opportunity for a z/OS generalist with five or more years of mainframe systems programming experience in a z/OS environment. Qualified applicants will have good z/OS systems fundamentals that include solid SMP/E installation and maintenance experience and superior troubleshooting skills (IPCS). Qualified applicants will also have systems support expertise in at least three or more of the following areas: z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), MQ, or mainframe storage administration (DFSMS). Experience with HCD, Workload Manager (WLM), exit coding, REXX, Endevor, or Linux systems administration is a big plus. This is a smaller shop where you'll be required to wear a lot of hats. Lead CICS Systems Programmer - Global Financial Company

A leading global commerce organization is in need of an experienced CICS Transaction Server systems programmer to function as a team lead at their mid-Atlantic data center. This person will provide technical support for a global environment consisting of nearly 65 LPARs and 100s of CICS/TS 5.2 regions processing almost 200M transactions per day. Qualified candidates will have experience with installation, customization, tuning and support of large CICS/TS environments. Sr. CICS/MQSeries Contractor (1099) - Washington, DC Area

A DC area firm, convenient to the Metro, seeks a mainframe systems programmer to assist with installation and support of CICS/TS and WebSphere MQ (MQSeries) in a complex z/OS environment. The ideal applicant will have an expert CICS installation and troubleshooting background and competent skills supporting MQ on the mainframe (the reverse combination will also be considered). Preferred experience includes z/OS systems support, DBMS experience (DB2 a big plus), REXX coding, VSAM file management and support, and process automation. Exposure to WebSphere distributed-based transaction systems is highly desirable. This is a 1099 contract position with a generous hourly rate. There is also the eventual possibility of becoming a full-time employee. No out of the DC area telecommuters.
